Lemon Blueberry Bread

- 13 cup of melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons grated lemon zest
- 12 cup milk
- 12 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup fresh blueberries or 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 14 cup powdered sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Lightly grease a 8x4 inch loaf pan.

3In a bowl, beat butter, 1 cup of sugar, juice and eggs.

4In separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest; stir into egg mixture alternately with milk.

5Gently fold in nuts and blueberries.

6Pour batter into pan.

7Bake for 60-70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

8Cool in pan for 10 minutes.

9Meanwhile, combine lemon juice and powdered sugar in a small bowl.

10Turn bread onto a rack and drizzle with glaze.

11You can sub cranberries, if so use orange juice in place of the lemon or the lemon is still wonderful.
