  • grated rind of 1 lemon
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • lump of butter

Directions

    Put first four ingredients in double boiler.

    Stir, add egg, put on medium heat, stir constantly and cook until smooth.

    Take off heat and add butter.

    Stir.

    Chill.

    Pour in small jelly glass.
