- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs, separated and beaten
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
- 1 c. milk
- 1 pastry shell (unbaked)
Directions

1Cream together the sugar and butter.

2Stir in beaten egg yolks, flour, grated rind, lemon juice and milk.

3Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

4Pour in pie shell and bake 10 minutes at 450°. Reduce to 325° and bake for 20 minutes.
