  • 8 carrots, peeled and cut in 1-inch diagonal pieces
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • fresh parsley (for garnish)

Directions

    Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan.

    Cover and cook over medium heat, 15 minutes or until carrots are tender.

    Add butter. Stir until melted.
