- 8 carrots, peeled and cut in 1-inch diagonal pieces
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- fresh parsley (for garnish)
Directions

1Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan.

2Cover and cook over medium heat, 15 minutes or until carrots are tender.

3Add butter. Stir until melted.

4Serve immediately.
