- 6 large eggs
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 18 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons buttermilk
- 8 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh lemon rind
- 1 12 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 tablespoons cornmeal
- 1 whole lemon, sliced thin
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
Directions

1Partially bake pie shell at 375F for 10 minutes.

2Reduce oven to 325F.

3Beat eggs and sugar until thick.

4Add remaining ingredients (except lemon slices).

6Place lemon slices on top.
