- 2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. cornmeal
- 4 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 basic (9-inch) pie crust, unbaked
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350°.

2In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, flour and cornmeal.

3Stir to mix.

4Add the eggs.

5Beat well.

6Add the butter, lemon juice, lemon peel and milk.

7Beat well.

8Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.

9Bake for 50 to 55 minutes until the filling is set in the center and the top is golden brown.
