  • dehydrated chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (2 to 3 lb.) whole chicken

    Combine 2 tablespoons dehydrated onion with 2 tablespoons water; let stand 10 minutes.

    Stir in 1/4 cup melted margarine or butter, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

    Spoon over chicken in shallow pan.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour until chicken is done, turning occasionally and spooning butter-lemon sauce over chicken.
