- dehydrated chopped onion
- 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (2 to 3 lb.) whole chicken
Directions

1Combine 2 tablespoons dehydrated onion with 2 tablespoons water; let stand 10 minutes.

2Stir in 1/4 cup melted margarine or butter, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

3Spoon over chicken in shallow pan.

4Bake at 350° for 1 hour until chicken is done, turning occasionally and spooning butter-lemon sauce over chicken.
