- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions

1Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large mixing bowl;

2set aside.

3Combine milk, egg and cheese and add to dry ingredients; mix thoroughly.

4Pour batter into hot, greased 10-inch skillet.

5Bake at 425° for 15 minutes or until cornbread is golden.
