- 2 c. cake flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Wesson oil
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
- 7 eggs, separated
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Combine flour, sugar, oil, water, lemon flavoring and egg yolks until smooth.

2Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until very stiff and dry (about 5 minutes).

3Fold into flour mixture and pour into ungreased tube pan.

4Bake for 1 hour in preheated 300° oven.

5Remove from oven and invert pan over a bottle to cool for at least 1 hour.

6May be glazed.
