- 6 eggs
- 1 lb. butter
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 1 oz. lemon flavor
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 qt. chopped pecans
- 2 c. sugar
Directions

1Separate egg yolk from white.

2Cream butter, egg yolks and sugar; add 2 cups flour.

3Beat well.

4Add lemon flavor in another large bowl.

5Add cherries, pineapple and nuts; mix well.

6Beat egg whites.

7Fold in the remaining 2 cups flour.

8Then combine all together.

9Put in 325° oven for 1 hour, then turn oven to 250° for another hour or until cake is golden brown.

10Cook in a tube pan.
