  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons Turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon Peel
  • 1-2/3 cup Water
  • 1-1/2 cup Plain Couscous
  • 1/2 cups Chopped Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 teaspoons Kosher Salt

Directions

    Mince the garlic and saute in a skillet with the oil and turmeric for one minute.

    Add the lemon peel and water and bring the mixture to a boil.

    Remove from heat, add couscous, cover and let sit for about five minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.

    Mix in chopped cilantro, fresh lemon juice and salt.
