- 1 c. butter or oleo
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. sour cream
Directions

1Grease 3 (9-inch) round cake pans.

2Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat well.

3Add vanilla and lemon rind.

4Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.

5Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.

6Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
