- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 3 tsp. lemon rind
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Mix the first 3 ingredients together and pat into an 8 x 8-inch pan.

2Bake at 350° for 15 minutes; set aside.

3Beat eggs well; stir in granulated sugar, lemon rind and juice.

4Set aside. Mix together 1/4 cup flour, baking powder and salt; add to egg mixture.

5Pour over crust.

6Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°, until slightly golden.
