- 1 lb. margarine
- 6 eggs
- 1 box brown sugar
- 4 c. plain flour
- 2 oz. lemon extract
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 qt. pecans
Directions

1Cream the margarine and sugar.

2Add egg yolks.

3Blend in 2 cups of flour.

4Coat fruit and nuts with remaining 2 cups of flour.

5Fold in fruit.

6Beat egg whites until stiff.

7Fold in all other ingredients.

8Let stand overnight in refrigerator.

9Bake in oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours in loaf pan.
