  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 c. plain flour
  • 2 1/2 sticks margarine or butter
  • 1 oz. lemon extract
  • 1 lb. shelled pecans, chopped
  • 1 lb. red candied cherries
  • 1 lb. golden raisins

    With mixer cream sugar and margarine; add eggs one at a time. Add flour and

    Flour cherries, raisins and nuts; add to mixture. Bake in tube cake pan at 250°or 300° for approximately 2 hours.
