- 1 lb. fresh Brussels sprouts, quartered
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 1/2 tsp. salt, optional
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions

1In a skillet, saute Brussels sprouts and onion in butter for 5 minutes.

2Add garlic, lemon juice and lemon peel, salt (if desired) and pepper; saute for 1 minute.

3Reduce heat to medium.

4Cook and stir for 5 to 6 minutes or until sprouts are tender.

5Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
