- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1 c. butter
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1In bowl combine 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup sugar and lemon rind. With pastry blender, cut butter into dry ingredients until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

2Pat crumbs evenly into 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

3Bake until lightly browned at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
