- 3 c. sugar
- 2 level Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 gal. whole milk
- 5 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 can Carnation milk
- water (finish filling container with water)
Directions

1Combine sugar and flour; mix with 1/2 gallon whole milk and beaten eggs.

2Cook until it forms a custard.

3Be sure to cook on low heat and stir to keep from scorching.

4If it lumps at all, strain through strainer after you have added Carnation and flavoring.

5Let cool and then freeze.
