Lemon Jello Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 pkg. lemon jello
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded cabbage (I use a little less)

Directions

    Add boiling water to gelatin and stir until dissolved.

    Add lemon juice, sugar, salt and pineapple juice.

    Chill until gelatin begins to set.

    Combine cabbage with pineapple and fold into gelatin mixture.
  5. 5
    Put in 4-cup mold which has been rinsed in cold water.

    Chill until firm.
