- 125 g butter
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 1 12 cups self-rising flour
- 12 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 lemons
Directions

1Cream butter, 1 cup of sugar and rind of 2 lemons.

2Add eggs one at a time.

3Add half the flour and half the milk and stir to combine.

4Repeat with remaining flour and milk

5Spoon into loaf pan and bake for 45-50min at 180 degrees.

6Combine remaining sugar and juice of lemons, heat for 20sec in microwave and stir to dissolve sugar.

7Pour over hot loaf whilst stll in pan.

8Allow to cool in pan.
