  • 2 level Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar for meringue
  • 1 baked pie shell

    Cool slightly and pour into the baked pie crust.

    Cover with the meringue made

    by beating the whites of the eggs with 2 tablespoons sugar. Put into moderately hot (375°) oven and brown the meringue.
