  • 1 (9 inch) graham cracker crumb crust or baked pastry shell
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk ((not evaporated milk)
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • yellow food coloring (optional)

Directions

    Beat egg yolks.

    Stir in condensed milk, lemon juice and food coloring.

    Pour into prepared crust.

    Top with meringue and bake at 375° until brown.
