- 1 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Add lemon juice to the sugar.

2Beat the yolks of the eggs until light.

3Add cornstarch which has been dissolved in a little cold water.

4Mix well with lemon and sugar.

5Start cooking, then add boiling water.

6Cook until thick.

7Pour into a baked pie shell.

8Top with whipped cream, if desired.
