- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 beaten egg yolks
- 1 1/2 c. boiling hot water
- 2 lemons
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice or lemon flavoring
- 1 (9-inch) cooked pie shell
Directions

1In the top of a doubler, mix sugar and flour together. Add beaten egg yolks to mixture, stirring often. Add boiling water and lemon juice or flavoring.

2Continue to stir until mixture gets real thick; make sure the bottom of double boiler has plenty of water in it, but not enough to cause steam to rise while stirring ingredients.

3Pour into cooked pie shell.
