- 4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, separated
- 3/8 c. lemon juice
- 1 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in pan, mix well, and add egg yolks, lemon juice and water.

2Beat with whisk until smooth. Place over medium heat, bring to boil, cook, stirring briskly, until clear and thickened.

3Cook 5 minutes, then pour in baked pie shell.

4Use egg whites for meringue.
