Lemon Pineapple Cake

  • 1 pkg. lemon or orange supreme cake mix without pudding
  • 3 1/2 oz. pkg. instant coconut cream pudding
  • 3/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 12 oz. can lemon-lime carbonated beverage

Directions

    Combine first 3 ingredients; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until well blended.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

    Add lemon-lime beverage; mix well. Pour batter into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.

    Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans, let cool completely.

    Spread Pineapple Topping between layers and on top of cake.
