- 4 (6 oz.) fresh or frozen salmon steaks
- 4 c. water
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- lemon wedges
- tartar sauce
Directions

1Thaw salmon, if frozen.

2In large skillet, combine water, lemon juice, onion, celery, salt and pepper.

3Bring to boil; simmer 5 minutes.

4Add salmon; simmer, covered, 7 to 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

5Remove salmon from liquid with spatula.

6Chill or serve hot.

7Serve salmon with lemon wedges.

8If desired, top salmon with tartar sauce and garnish with fresh dill weed.
