  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 7 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. sweet milk

Directions

    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and gradually add sugar, beating all the time. Beat in eggs, one at a time; add flour mixture. Add lemon juice. Put batter in greased and floured pan. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes in 325° oven.
