- 1/2 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- grated rind of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
- 4 egg yolks
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 4 egg whites, beaten stiffly
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until light.

2Add egg yolks, one at a time and mix thoroughly.

3Beat in flavorings and rind.

4Sift flour and baking powder together.

5Add alternately with milk.

6Fold in beaten egg whites.

7Pour into greased and floured ring pan.

8Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

9Cool in pan.

10Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
