Lemon Pound Cake

  • 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
  • 2/3 c. cooking oil
  • 2/3 c. orange juice
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1 c. confectioners sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325°.

    Beat until smooth, cake mix, jello, oil and orange juice.

    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Add lemon extract.

    Pour into well-greased and floured Bundt pan or tube pan.

    Bake 1 hour or until done.

    Cool about 15 minutes and remove from pan.

    In 15 to 20 minutes, pour over the confectioners sugar, dissolved in lemon juice.
