- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. lemon extract
Directions

1Beat margarine and sugar until creamy.

2Add oil and beat until creamy.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each until blended in.

4Combine salt with flour and add to sugar mixture, alternating with the milk, ending with flour.

5Add lemon extract; blend.

6Pour into a greased and floured tube cake pan.

7Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.

8Remove from oven; let sit for 10 minutes in pan.

9Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
