- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 12 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 lemons, juice of
- 2 grated lemons, rind of
- 4 eggs, separated
- lemon, knots (to garnish)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F Mix all ingredients except egg whites and beat until smooth.

2Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.

3Place in greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch casserole dish.

4Place casserole, uncovered, in pan containing 1 inch of hot water and bake 50 minutes.

5Cool and garnish with lemon knots.
