- 1 lemon (juice and rind)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiffly
Directions

1Mix together the lemon juice, lemon rind, sugar and egg yolks; cook in double boiler until mixture begins to thicken.

2Add egg whites; cook about 1 minute.

3Cool.

4Before serving, garnish with whipped cream; top with a cherry.
