- 2 cups hot water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 lemon, zest of
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 3 teaspoons cornstarch, heaping
Directions

1Mix cornstarch with a little water for thickening agent.

2Boil water and sugar 5 minutes, add cornstarch mixture.

3Cook 8 to 10 minutes, add lemon, zest and butter.

4Stir until butter melts.

5Serve at once.
