- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Combine cornstarch, sugar and salt.

2Add boiling water gradually, stirring until mixture is smooth.

3Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.

4Continue cooking 2 to 3 minutes until sauce is clear.

5Remove from heat. Beat in lemon rind, lemon juice and butter.
