- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. finely grated lemon peel
- 1/3 c. fresh lemon juice
- 1 large egg
Directions

1Melt butter; add sugar, lemon peel, juice, then add the egg. Mix well.

2Cool until sugar is dissolved and sauce is slightly thickened.
