Ingredients

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Mix all ingredients.

    Cook in heavy saucepan over low heat until thicker and syrupy. Will keep in refrigerator 1 week. Makes 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
