Name: Lemon Sheet Cake
Ingredients: 2 sticks margarine (at room temperature); 2 c. flour; 2 Tbsp. sugar; 1/2 c. nuts (optional); 16 oz. cream cheese; 1 1/4 c. powdered sugar; 1/2 container small Cool Whip; 2 (3 oz.) boxes lemon pie filling; additional nuts for top (if desired)

2 c. flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
16 oz. cream cheese
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 container small Cool Whip
2 (3 oz.) boxes lemon pie filling
additional nuts for top (if desired)

Directions

Mix margarine, flour, sugar and 1/2 cup nuts together like cookie dough.

Press evenly in 9 x 13-inch pan.

Bake in 350° oven for 15 minutes.

Set aside to cool.

Mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar and 1/2 container of Cool Whip.

Spread on cooled crust.

Make lemon pie filling as directed on box, but only use sugar amount per 1 box.

Cool and spread over cheese layer.

Top with remainder of Cool Whip and sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
