- 2 sticks margarine (at room temperature)
- 2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
- 16 oz. cream cheese
- 1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 container small Cool Whip
- 2 (3 oz.) boxes lemon pie filling
- additional nuts for top (if desired)
Directions

1Mix margarine, flour, sugar and 1/2 cup nuts together like cookie dough.

2Press evenly in 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Bake in 350° oven for 15 minutes.

4Set aside to cool.

5Mix the cream cheese with powdered sugar and 1/2 container of Cool Whip.

6Spread on cooled crust.

7Make lemon pie filling as directed on box, but only use sugar amount per 1 box.

8Cool and spread over cheese layer.

9Top with remainder of Cool Whip and sprinkle with nuts, if desired.
