  • 2 c. granulated sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 2 lemons (juice)
  • small amount lemon rind

    Beat whites separately and then mix all together.

    Bake bottom and filling at the same time.

    Makes 2 large and 1 small pie. Bake at about 400° until brown, 20 to 25 minutes.
