- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. melted butter or margarine
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 2 well beaten egg yolks
- 1 c. milk, scalded
- 2 stiffly beaten egg whites
- juice of 3 lemons
Directions

1Combine sugar, flour, salt and butter.

2Add lemon juice and peel.

3Stir in egg yolks and milk and mix.

4Fold in egg whites. Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole or individual baking cups. Bake in pan with 1-inch of hot water surrounding it.

5Bake at 325° for 1 hour.

6Makes 6 servings.
