- 2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. butter
- 3 eggs, separated
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- juice and rind of 2 lemons
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter well.

2Add flour, juice and rind of lemons and milk.

3Next, add egg yolks.

4Mix all thoroughly.

5Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

6Pour into greased custard cups or casserole dish.

7Place cups in pan of water and bake in 325° oven for 1 hour or until brown like custard.

8Serve cold with whipped cream.
