- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Mix flour, margarine and powdered sugar. Press in ungreased square pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inch or 9 x 9 x 2-inch, building up 1/2-inch edges.

3Bake 20 minutes.

4Beat remaining ingredients until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

5Pour over hot crust.

6Bake until no indention remains when touched lightly in center, about 25 minutes.

7Cool and cut.
