- 3 lemons
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. hot tap water
Directions

1Soften lemons.

2Cut off one end of each lemon and gouge with knife to loosen pulp.

3Squeeze the juice into the pitcher and slice lemon.

4Add sugar.

5Pour hot tap water over sugar, lemon slices and juice.

6Stir to dissolve sugar. Let stand for 5 minutes.

7Remove lemon slices and seeds.
-
8Fill pitcher with cold water to make 2 quarts.

9Serve over ice.
