- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. lemonade (concentrated)
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
- 4 eggs, separated
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

2Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each.

3Add lemon rind and lemonade concentrate.

4Gradually add sifted dry ingredients, blending well. Add salt to egg whites and beat until stiff.

5Gently fold them into batter.

6Pour mixture into a well-buttered and lightly floured square pan.

7Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

8Do not overbake.

9Cool.

10Dust top with powdered sugar or top with lemon flavored whipped cream.
