  • 1 lb. fresh or 2 boxes frozen asparagus, cooked
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. dry mustard
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/3 c. grated cheese

Directions

    Place cooked asparagus in shallow greased casserole in single layer.

    Melt butter until golden brown.

    Blend in mayonnaise, seasonings and lemon juice; pour over asparagus.

    Sprinkle with crumbs, then cheese.

    Bake in preheated 375° oven for 15 minutes, or until browned.
