Lemony Fruit Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. shredded lemon peel
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 1 well beaten egg
  • 1 c. miniature marshmallows

Directions

    In a 1-quart saucepan, combine sugar and flour.

    Stir in lemon peel, juice, egg and marshmallows.

    Cook and stir over low heat until mixture thickens slightly and marshmallows melt.

    Cool. Fold in mayonnaise.

    Cover and chill.

    Serve with fruit salads or use as a dip for fresh or canned fruits.
