- 1 Tbsp. fresh grated lemon peel
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 c. fresh squeezed lemon juice
Directions

1In covered jar, combine lemon peel, sugar and boiling water; cover and shake until sugar dissolves.

2Add lemon juice, store tightly covered in refrigerator until ready to use.

3Makes 2 2/3 cups syrup base, enough for 8 to 10 servings.
