  • 1 c. cooked lentils or beans
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped celery
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated skim milk
  • 3/4 c. wheat bran
  • 3/4 c. corn flakes or bread crumbs
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. sage
  • 3 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.

    Place in an oiled 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes.

    Lentil loaf is so moist that it needs no gravy or sauce.
