- 2 c. cooked lentils
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can milk
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 1 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. salt or to taste
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1 tsp. grated onion
- 1 c. grated fresh carrots
- 1 c. grated celery
Directions

1Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.

2Add more bread crumbs if a drier loaf is desired.

3Spoon into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole and bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.

4Serve with gravy, if desired.
