Ingredients
- 1 12 cups lentils
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- 14 cup cider vinegar (sub. Malt Vinegar if needed)
- white rice
Directions

1Make rice.

2Add lentils to about 1 quart of boiling water and simmer for 20 minute.

3Meanwhile, cut veggies.

4Drain lentils into colander and leave them out of pot.

5Add butter, beef, broth, celery, carrots, and garlic to lentil pot.

6Boil for 10 minute.

7Add lentils, salt, sugar, cumin, and pepper to pot.

8Bring to Boil, then turn down to simmer for 30 minute.

9Add Cider Vinegar.

10Serve with rice.
